    Witness a Fabulous Maldives Sunset

The Maldives is a collection of atolls where exquisite beauty will enthral you. The stunning turquoise waters in the daytime are extremely pristine, but this beauty becomes serene and transient during the sunset and into the night. The multi-hued intensity of the spectacular Maldives sunset creates a mesmerizing experience, especially for the full moon on a Maldives beach.
Being scattered with different islands, Maldives is one of the best places you can go if you love the sun and water. Its setting makes for a perfect refuge for the people who just want to take a break from the stressful hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is the ideal vacation spot where you can do nothing but enjoy and relax and forget about your regular responsibilities.
One way to do this is to take advantage of the experience of an uninterrupted, open water sunset evening. While staying at our guest house ask about boarding a traditional Maldivian boat (dhoni) to see the sun go down on the turquoise Indian Ocean – the crimson sky backdrop will leave you awestruck.

These sunset trips on traditional boats can be arranged anytime of the year by your guesthouse. While you're out enjoying Maldives sunsets you may also encounter dolphins, birds and numerous fish – just the icing on the cake. You may also be able to arrange a sunset picnic on a deserted island. A local guide will take you by dhoni to a nearby island, where only you and your special one or you and your friends can bring a picnic and witness a fabulous sunset. The music of the waves lapping on the shores of the quiet beach will accompany you.

Enjoying the evenings in the local islands
When the day is about to end, the waters of the Maldives take up a golden colour, which create interesting illusions you can watch while sitting on the beach. The evenings are very romantic and captivating, especially if you’re in good company. The local Maldivians also like to relax in the evenings outdoors in hammock-type chairs suspended from trees all over the island. You, too, can perch yourself in one and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
Daytime in the tropically located Maldives is ever hot and humid. Then, in the evening the temperature drops by 1-2 degrees and a light pleasant breeze comforts you. It is at this time of day that you can enjoy live music and the buzz of local life. The locals aren’t out soaking up the sun like the sun kissed tourists, like many inhabitants of tropical countries they prefer to keep cool and out of the sun during the day. You will find the Maldivian way of life is very easygoing.
